Our Louviers site has been refurbished and reimagined into a permanent center of excellence that brings together Bensdorp’s outstanding people, exceptional applications and leading innovations to share with our customers.

An end-to-end holistic experience

Designed to celebrate and showcase Bensdorp’s cocoa expertise and mastery, our Masters of Cacao Excellence Center gives customers a holistic view of our cocoa from bean to final consumer applications. 

Through interactive, hands-on workshops, they can appreciate the complexities of our processes and gain a deeper understanding of what it takes to produce our superior cocoas. Guided by our experts, they learn about raw materials, explore our cocoa products, brainstorm solutions to problems and create brand new cocoa applications.

A place of limitless possibilities

The entrance hall and meeting room is the central focal point of our excellence center where visitors are warmly welcomed. It’s an inviting space set up to foster teamwork and close working relationships between our experts and customers.

Here, they’ll gather to hone in on the focus of their visit. This could be to solve a specific problem, develop a new product, get creative with innovation or simply learn more about our exceptional cocoa.

Discussion leads to action with learning in the Bean Lab, experiments in the Application Lab, product development in the Pilot Lab, tasting sessions in the Sensory Room or a tour of our factory depending on the aims of the day.     100% Organic, fully traceable dark chocolate powder.

    This high fat (32%) cocoa powder enables you to make a ‘Dark Chocolate’ claim and show real pieces of chocolate on the consumer packaging. 

    It contains only 2% of sugar: Three times less powder needed versus chocolate for an equivalent cocoa content delivering both a sugar and cost reduction. 

    Application: Thanks to its powder texture, it is particularly suited to drinks’ applications, and ideal for dairy-free desserts, mousses, ice creams with organic positioning.
