MEET OUR NEW RECYCLE-READY BAGS
Our packaging is more efficient than ever! By going from 750g flip-top boxes to 1kg bags, we transport 140% more product per pallet and reduce our environmental impact. The new bags are recycle-ready, made of mixed-po material, making them recycle-ready in growing numbers of countries. A win for your business, and a win for the planet.

WE HELP YOU & THE PLANET
70% of consumers take the environment into account when purchasing edible goods. And a third of them will pay a little bit extra for sustainable packaging. We're here to help you engage more guests with true sustainability and to help the planet. All at once.
THE SIP OF THE DIVINE IN TOP CONDITION AT ALL TIMES
By now you know that our new packs are made with a new recycle-ready foil. But what exactly is it? This mixed-polyolefins material is made with polyethene (PE) and polypropylene (PP). Although similar in strength, resistance, and product preservation to the previous one, this one can be recycled. Yes, even if your country doesn't exactly have a recycling structure — this foil can be incinerated with energy recovery. Thanks to its features and great market availability, this material is our next step towards being an even more sustainable and energy-efficient brand

How to sort these bags
The new Van Houten packs are assessed by the Cyclos-HTP Institute, an independent certification centre specialising in packaging recyclability and optimisation.
But no matter how engaged you and your customers might be with recycling, we know it works differently around the world. If you want to learn how to sort these bags to give them a second life, explore the links below.
