Organic chocolate has evolved from a trend into a must-have product feature. With consumers’ growing interest in better-for-you products, more and more offerings are popping up on shelves of established brands, boutiques and independent producers. The label is becoming a seller in stores all around the globe.

A tasty shift in awareness

In the last couple of decades, our trusty food pyramid has got a drastic overhaul. Concerns about the potential effects of pesticides, hormones, GMO’s and antibiotics, along with the desire to avoid highly-processed food and artificial ingredients are the main reasons people have adjusted their eating habits and now buy more organic products.

In the next 10 to 15 years, the market for healthy, organic and bio products is expected to boom. This is due to the fact that today, only 25% of millennials are parents, and this number will continue to grow to 80% in the future!
